Experience Winter Pruning at Puddleduck

Tours run weekdays between 10:30am and 3:00pm during June, July and August. Our Pruning Experience is $75 per person and includes PPE (personal protective equipment), gumboots, wet weather gear (if required), and a glass of warm mulled wine or hot chocolate. After your vineyard adventure, warm your spirits at our cozy cellar door. Indulge in a wine tasting featuring our 100% onsite grown and made wines, or opt for a steaming glass of mulled wine or wrap your hands around a mug of hot chocolate. Puddleduck Vineyard and Winery Tour

Available weekdays at 10:30am and 2:30pm, our vineyard tours are $75 per person, bookings are essential and can be made on 03 62602301.

Our Puddleduck Vineyard and Winery tour is an amazing chance to see behind the scenes of a working vineyard and winery.

They include a talk about the history of Puddleduck, our philosophy around the growing and harvest of our grapes, a chance to discover what is happening in the vineyard and a look through the winery to see what happens once the grapes arrive to be processed.

Once at the winery you will be given the opportunity for a sneaky barrel tasting of our yet to be released Pinot Noir or Chardonnay.

Back at Puddleduck's cellar door we will serve you our premium Plumm glass wine tasting experience which is served with local cheeses or a tea or coffee if you prefer. Plenty of time to also browse our shop and purchase any wine plus a chance to join our cellar club will also be offered. 

Vineyard and Winery Tours are $75 pp and take approx. 1.5 hours. Sturdy (enclosed) shoes free of dirt* are essential and raincoat is also a good idea.

*Tasmania is free from phylloxera and one of the only regions in the world still growing Pinot Noir on it's original root stock. A foot bath will be provided for shoe cleaning prior to vineyard entry.

- Self-guided and available in our seated outdoor areas 4 wines - 120ml $15pp

 Indoor Premium Crystal Stemware Wine Experience $20

- Take the experience to a whole new level in our beautiful tasting room. Soak in the views over the duck pond and the vineyard as you enjoy your tasting in stunning crystal Plumm glassware 4 wines - 120ml $20pp

 Add Cheese $10

- Our tastings can also be enjoyed with one of our tasting cheese platters, which features 3 local cheeses such as the Wicked Cheese company Brie and Eleni yoghurt cheese, served with locally made relish $10pp
